777 Recap

Just finished the wedding day recap from July 7, 2007. Not sure why this has been so hard to finish up . Some days I love my computer and the other days I just want to chuck it out a window. Tuesday night I spent all night working on the recap, finnishing it up around 5:00 am. As I was going to save it...Blam computer crashed. I knew right then I was in for a long night. I go to open the project and its become corrupt. uh oh...not a good thing. I knew that the wedding video itself was safe as I had a copy of that, but what about all the hard work I just put into the recap. Yep it was gone. This problem has been plaguing me quite a bit recently with the crashes, not sure what the dilly oh is but its getting pretty annoying. Any way after going to bed this morning around 8am I got back up at 11 and started back to work on it. Luckily I still had most of the clips in my mind and where they were to be placed. At 10 this evening I finally got it finished and with some luck and fingers crossed I rendered out the movie. Whew, no probs. Quickly I save a copy, clean up some files and then go to save the finished work. Blaam, crashed again and guess what another corrupt file. Luckily I saved the copy. So for now I am going to leave it be and get some sleep. the only thing left to finish up on the project is the intro and closing, Mastering of the DVD then designing of the printed material. Once I receive the photos I hopefully will be good to go. That is unless I have another crash...Don't want to think about that though.

Website

Spent the last couple of days updating my website. The major update was that of the packages. new packages have been posted for the 2008 year. Anyone that has booked for 2008 may upgrade to the corresponding new package, just get in contact with me and we can make the changes.

The other new aspect to the website is the gallery page. It is now in Flash. Hopefully everyone will be able to view it as the old site was done in windows media. Those on a Mac were unable to view the samples, this should now be rectified.

I currently have two weddings from July that I am working on. Hopefully these will be completed by Christmas depending on when I receive photos from the photographer.

Tracy and Andrew 7/7/2007

Tracy and Andrew were married at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. and had their reception at the Century Center. Of course this was the most popular wedding day of the year as it was 777, believed to be a lucky number. Tracy and Andrew made a perfect couple as she was Cinderella and he is Prince Charming. Actually she really is Cinderella, that is at Disney Land, but on this day they truly made their dreams come true.

Photography was by Eric and Sara Bucholtz form eB Photography. After the ceremony we all went down to the canal to have photos and a little bit of fun before the Reception. Tracy had me go along to get some footage to use in the Recap. Of course, like usual I liked the footage so much I had to make a little something extra. So here it is, one of the reasons I'm still not caught up this year on my editing, but you know what, its the little things that memories are made of.
