iPhone and Todays Wedding
Today's Wedding was for Megan and Kyle. It started off Friday night in Brownsburg where i had the opportunity to capture their Rehearsal dinner. It was a great dinner at Boulder Creek Dinning company and after dinner got to listen to some excellent and heartfelt speeches. Today I arrived at the Church, set up, and began capturing some scenic shots of the location. I over heard the bridal party discussing how they wished they had some music to listen to. Well no fear I just happened to have my new handy dandy iPhone on me. You can watch the clip to see how it was a hit.
By the way the pictures were taken with the iPhone as well, it was just a quick snap to see what it would look like.
Now I thought the iPhone was a pretty cool little contraption but never really planned on getting one. I woke up Tuesday morning and about mid afternoon my doorbell rings. DHL was at the door with a delivery. I wasn't expecting anything so I was a bit surprised to see them. I get my package noticing it was from the Apple store and go about opening it. WOW! A brand new 8 gig iPhone with a letter saying thank you. It took me a while, as I didn't know who had sent me such an unexpected surprise. You see about 6 months ago I helped someone out (Dave, don't know his last name) that was trying to figure out how I did one of my edits. He was also having problems with his editing system. I spent about 3 days on the phone and through email, got him set up on his system and explained the steps and process to get the look he was after. Of course he was appreciative and offered to pay me for my time. I declined payment, as I figured he could pass on the deed to someone else needing help and any way I was just happy to help out. All I have to say now is thank you and you didn't have to, but I very much appreciate it.
Any way today's wedding was a blast, as Megan and Kyle both have such great families and friends. The photographs were taken by husband and wife team, Megan and Tim. Megelaine is the name of the company and they were both friends of Megan and Kyle. They did a wonderful job and I look forward to seeing their photos.
