I love hearing good things

I finished up the wedding video for Patrick and Amy (see post below for link to recap) and Amy's mother came by today to pick you the copies. I checked my email tonight and had a message, Amy's mother sent me a great message and to be honest it is the type of message that makes all the long hours sitting in front of the computer monitor well worth it.

message: Dear Jason,
I just finished watching the video, and I can't thank you enough. It was so beautifully done! I was so excited and busy the day of the wedding, and I missed so much of what was going on, and your video made me feel as though I was at the wedding again, seeing and hearing things I had missed. The music was perfect, and all the creative small touches, like the butterfly, just added to the beauty of the video. Thank you so much for creating such a lovely way to relive the wedding again and again!
Sincerely, Marsha

Real Love

Just finished up Patrick and Amy's wedding video from July 22, 2007. You can see the finished recap on my web site under "FEATURED VIDEO" or just click the link here. I remember the day vividly ( I've been looking at the footage for 2 weeks of course I remember it :) ). The day before they were married we were worried abut the rain, but no rain for their wedding day. I was a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA). You couldn't of asked for a better day. Troy Hill (Photographer) and I worked great together, capturing the moments as the day unfolded. The pre-Ceremony and Ceremony footage went without a hitch. The reception was held in the art gallery and live music was provided by The Flip Miller Band. The only thing that didn't go as planned was the speeches. I had everything set up to capture sound from the equipment provided by the band. Well the speeches took place in the other room using the in house audio provided by IMA. Now I don't know if you have been in the art gallery of IMA but thy have very high ceilings and the acoustics aren't very good. Luckily I was able to think quickly and grab a wireless unit and stick it on a ledge next to where they were giving the speeches. I was able to this after the parents gave their speeches. This past week I spent a good part of the week adjusting the audio for the parents portion of the speeches and was able to save it. Cant have every wedding go as planned but luckily through experience and quick thinking the audio was saved. Well any way enough of the rambling, just wanted to say congratulations to Amy and Patrick.
